Privacy

In short: the tools work inside your browser, nothing you play or type is sent to us, and there are no accounts, cookies or ads.

The microphone (tuner only)

The online tuner asks for your microphone only when you press Start tuner. Your browser then passes the sound to code running in the page, which measures the pitch of each short slice a few times a second and discards it. No audio is recorded, saved or uploaded, and no other page on this site uses the microphone. Pressing Stop tuner or leaving the page switches the microphone off. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser's site settings.

Your settings

Some choices are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time: the colour theme, the metronome's tempo, time signature, accents, sound and speed trainer, the tuner's instrument and A4 reference, the BPM to ms tempo, the tap tempo averaging choice, and your drum pattern, volume and muted sounds. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

When you use Copy link on the drum machine, the pattern is written into the link itself (after the # sign). That part of a link is not sent to the server when the page is opened; it is read by the page in the browser.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across other sites, and it never receives what you type, tap or play into the tools. It records things like the page visited, the referring site and the browser and country, in aggregate.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare's servers handle the requests your browser makes for the pages, scripts and fonts, and may keep standard technical logs to run and protect the service. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.

Links to other sites

Pages link to other sites, including our sister sites and the CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck services. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.

If this page changes, the new version will be posted here. Last updated October 2026.
